ACEPS Integrated Interview Invitation Policy Update

ACEPS has set forth a policy that all integrated plastic surgery programs will coordinate when they announce interview dates and distribute interview invitations. The purpose of this is to improve the efficiency of scheduling for applicants and programs. Advanced planning is intended to help applicants’ better plan for travel and to minimize cancellation and rescheduling of interviews.

Please note that the following policies pertain ONLY to the first round of interview invitations. ACEPS does not have a policy in place for the distribution of interview invitations after the first round.

Interview Dates:

A public calendar will be maintained through ACEPS to organize the process of identifying and selecting interview dates. This calendar can be viewed by programs and applicants. Programs are strongly encouraged to enter their interview dates on the site as soon as possible or by the deadline of September 13.
Enter Interview Dates

  1. PROGRAM:
    • Deadline for programs to submit integrated interview dates on the ACEPS site – Friday, September 5, 2025
    • Integrated interview invitations must be sent to applicants between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm Pacific Time | 9:00 am – 1:00pm Mountain Time | 10:00am – 2:00pm Central Time | 11:00am – 3:00pm Eastern Time on Friday, November 7, 2025
    • For programs who manually schedule: Invited applicants may begin responding to the first round of invitations starting at 8:00am Pacific / 9:00am Mountain / 10:00am Central / 11:00pm Eastern on Friday, November 7, 2025, and must respond before Monday, November 10, 2025.
    • Programs that use scheduling software should specify so in their invitation and refrain from sending scheduling links to invited applicants until Monday, November 10, 2025 at 8AM Pacific Time | 9AM Mountain Time | 10AM Central Time | 11AM Eastern Time
    • Interview scheduling by programs must not start before Monday, November 10, 2025 at 8AM Pacific Time | 9AM Mountain Time | 10AM Central Time | 11AM Eastern Time for both manual and scheduling software.

  2. APPLICANT:
    • Deadline for programs to submit independent interview dates on the ACEPS site - Monday, December 1, 2025
    • Independent interviews do not have a universal release date but the first round of invitations must be offered on or before Friday, January 9, 2026.
